Jankidevi Bajaj Gram Vikas Sanstha (JBGVS), established in 1987, since then, JBGVS continues to touch the lives of the underprivileged people, primarily in rural areas as well as in the urban localities surrounding the production units and establishments of Bajaj Group.

We are in three states viz: Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand where working towards to touch the lives of underprivileged community through 483 villages across these three states since its inception.

Apart from the rural areas we are committed to touch the lives of Urban poor also, hence intensively working in 25 slum areas of Pune (Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation) and the areas in the outskirts of Aurangabad city.

Pune (Maharashtra)

Pune district is in the state of Maharashtra surrounded by Thane (on northwest), Satara (on south), Raigad (on west), Solapur (on southeast) and Ahmednagar (on north and northeast) districts of Maharashtra. According to census 2011, the total population of the district is 94,29,408 and of which around 42 % population lives in 1852 villages. The sex ratio in the district is around 914 females per thousand males and literacy rate is around 76%. The average rainfall of the districts is around 600 to 700 mm and the temperature ranges from 20 to 38 degree Celsius.

Our (Jankidevi Bajaj Gram Vikas Sanstha) presence is in Khed, Velhe and Haveli taluka of the district since 1987, and we are intensively working towards the holistic development of underprivileged community of around 125 villages and 25 slum areas of the Pune city. Our major focus areas towards community development in the district are education, health and livelihood, and due to our field interventions around 30000 underprivileged households directly benefited so far.

Aurangabad (Maharashtra)

Aurangabad district mainly situated in the Godavari river basin and partly in the Tapti river basin of the state of Maharashtra in Marathwada region. The bordering districts are Nasik (on west), Jalgaon (on north), Jalna (on east) and Ahmednagar (on south). Geologically the district lies on Deccan Plateau which has two distinct layers; the upper layer consists of vesicular and amygdule zeolitic basalt, while lower layer consists of massive basalt. The district has an area of around 10,000 sq km, of which around 63% is rural. According to census 2011, the total population of the district is 37,01,282 and of which around 56 % population lives in 1314 villages. The average rainfall of the districts is around 734 mm and the temperature ranges from 14 to 40 degree Celsius.

Our (Jankidevi Bajaj Gram Vikas Sanstha) presence is in Paithan, Gangapur, Aurangabad, Vaijapur, Kannad and Phulambari taluka of the district since 1990, since then we are intensively working to address water issues of the region through mega “Bajaj Water Conservation Project” along with the integrated rural development program for holistic development of underprivileged community of around 166 villages of the district. Our major focus areas in this region is water conservation, education, and livelihood, and due to our field interventions around 5500 underprivileged households directly benefited so far.

Wardha (Maharashtra)

The district of Wardha situated in the north-eastern part of Maharashtra which belongs to Nagpur division. It is surrounded by Amrawati (on west & north), Yavatmal (on south), Chandrapur (on southeast) and Nagpur districts (on east). The temperature ranges from 20 to 49 degree Celsius and average rainfall is between 1100 to 1150mm. According to census 2011, the total population of the district is 13,00,774 and of which around 67 % people lives in 973 villages. The sex ratio in the district is around 946 females per thousand males and literacy rate is around 78 %.

Our (Jankidevi Bajaj Gram Vikas Sanstha) presence is in Deoli, Karanja, Arvi, Celoo and Hinganghat taluka of the district since 2011, since then we are intensively working towards the holistic development of underprivileged community of around 40 villages. Our major focus areas towards community development in the district are education, health, and livelihood, due to our field interventions around 1500 underprivileged households directly benefited so far.

Sikar (Rajasthan)

The Sikar district is situated in the north-eastern part of the Rajasthan, surrounded by Jhunjhunu on the north, Churu on the north-west, Nagpur on the south-west and Jaipur district on the south-east. Climatic conditions of the district varying throughout the year with hot summer, scanty rainfall, and chilly winter. The temperature ranges from 0 to 48 degree Celsius. The average temperature around the year is about 35 degree Celsius and average rainfall is around 459mm. According to census 2011, the total population of the district is 26,77,333 and of which around 76 % population lives in 1162 villages. The sex ratio in the district is around 947 females per thousand males and literacy rate is around 61%.

Our (Jankidevi Bajaj Gram Vikas Sanstha) presence is in Sikar, Sri Madhopur and Danta Ramgarh taluka of the district since 2010, since then we are intensively working towards the holistic development of underprivileged community of around 103 villages. Our major focus areas towards community development in the district are education, health, and livelihood, due to our field interventions around 3500 underprivileged households directly benefited so far.

Udham Singh Nagar (Uttarakhand)

Udham Singh Nagar district situated in the south - eastern part of Uttarakhand state in northern India. The district was carved out from Nainital district in 1995 and named after freedom fighter Udham Singh. The district is in the Terai-Bhabar region of the state and it is a part of Kumaun division. It is surrounded by Nainital (on north), Champawat (on north east), Nepal (on east), Bareilly, Rampur, Moradabad, Pilibhit and Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh state (on south and west). The temperature ranges from around 14 to 39 degree Celsius and average rainfall is around 1300mm. According to census 2011, it is the third most populous district of Uttarakhand with the population of 16,48,902, and of which around 64 % people lives in 674 villages. The sex ratio in the district is around 920 females per thousand males and literacy rate is around 62%.

Our (Jankidevi Bajaj Gram Vikas Sanstha) presence is in Khatima and Sitarganj taluka of the district dominated by tribal habitations since 2014, since then we are intensively working towards the holistic development of underprivileged community of around 88 villages. Our major focus areas towards community development in the district are education, health, and livelihood, due to our field interventions around 2500 underprivileged households directly benefited so far.
